Storrow Gordon

Storrow Gordon is executive vice president, general counsel and secretary, responsible for directing all aspects of EDS' global legal operations. This includes oversight for ethics and compliance, employee relations, immigration, and investigations. She serves as a member of EDS' Executive Committee and reports directly to Chairman, President and CEO Ron Rittenmeyer.
Gordon joined EDS in 1991 as a senior attorney. Within a year, she was promoted to legal manager, Corporate Acquisitions and Finance, in which she was responsible for legal support for corporate acquisitions, dispositions, equity investments and joint ventures. This included taking a lead role in the split-off of EDS from General Motors in 1996.
Gordon served as secretary to the governance committee of the EDS board of directors beginning in 1996 and was appointed director of EDS board operations in 1999.
In 2000, Gordon was promoted to deputy general counsel, a position she held until 2005. In this capacity, she was the chief governance counsel responsible for ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, New York Stock Exchange governance reforms and related matters. She also provided oversight to a number of legal functions. Gordon was responsible for various aspects of the company's legal support strategy and the leadership of the legal department, comprising more than 400 employees in 39 locations.
She began her career with the law firm of Johnson & Wortley, P.C., where she rose to the position of partner, corporate section.
Storrow Gordon, who was chosen as "Super Lawyer" by Texas Monthly magazine in 2004 and 2005, earned her law degree from Southern Methodist University and holds a B.A. degree from the University of Texas.
