Austria
EDS was established in 1985 in Austria with General Motors as its main client. Until 1993, EDS Austria played a leading role in setting up business in Eastern European countries.
From 1994 to 2000 EDS Austria focused completely on the growing demand for information technology (IT) services in the Austrian marketplace. Since 2000 EDS Austria has also been coordinating the activities in Central Europe (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland).
