EDS Philippines was established in January 1996 to provide IT services and support for key accounts moving toward centralization and shared services support.

Under the umbrella of EDS Singapore, EDS Philippines is supported by EDS' worldwide resource base and global vision. The company's more than 35 employees apply ideas and technology to help clients enhance their economics, products and services, and customer relationships.

In February 2000, Caltex (Philippines) Inc. marked the beginning of its IT outsourcing with EDS Philippines Inc. The services provided include the provision of help desk facilities, server, network, project management and desk side services for Caltex Philippines' more than 500 users.
