As a member of the EDS Agility Alliance, Xerox cements its strong relationship with EDS. Through a powerful alliance, EDS has become a systems integrator for Xerox products, software and solutions – creating a seamless “input to output” solution for existing and future customers. EDS and Xerox are also working together to develop joint go-to-market offerings including integrated solutions for clients spanning from high-end print solutions, office solutions, imaging and document management. EDS' new Managed Output Services offering combines Xerox's office services and systems with EDS' desktop services support. The offering includes Xerox's full range of office products-color and black & white networked printers, digital copiers and multifunction systems – combined with a suite of document and desktop software and services to effectively manage the customer's total networked office environment.
Combining Xerox's document management systems and services with EDS' desktop management services, the EDS-Xerox alliance provides customers with one-stop shopping for their full input-to-output needs. Whether beginning with an office document assessment (ODA) to understand the current environment or extending current EDS desktop services to include any combination of Xerox's printers, digital copiers or multifunction systems, the Alliance seeks to help customers gain efficiencies while reducing technology infrastructure costs in the document creation process.
