Banque Hervet Case Study
Before Banque Hervet was acquired by Banque Credit Commercial de France (CCF), it operated a consolidated data center in Fussy, France, to manage its servers, networks, applications and desktops. Though CCF wanted to retain its entire work force, officials recognized CCF's shared information platforms would eventually make the data center obsolete. To preserve the jobs and expertise in Fussy, Banque Hervet turned to EDS. In exchange for providing network, desktop and server management, and applications support for Banque Hervet, EDS transitioned Fussy's staff and technology resources to create a new organization that supports retail banking customers throughout Europe. Today, Fussy is one of EDS' Best ShoreSM service centers, offering everything from customer relationship management to applications development and support.
