Effective communications with trading partners around the globe require efficient-business communications capabilities. Gates exchanges more than 40,000 documents with its customers each month alone. But a wide variety of exchange standards, some of which were outdated, and an equally complicated array of communications methods presented Gates with some significant challenges.
