The Push To Go Global

Never before have the incentives for to expand beyond their home markets are driving into new markets, either through ventures or acquisitions, to gain access and increase their opportunities for growth. This drive is abetted by “convergence” consistency of capital requirements, financial deregulation, and more open markets. European insurers face new, more consistent will mean that the big, diversified groups winners, and regulators in other parts keeping a close eye on this framework.

This survey presents the answers from over 200 representatives, from insurers all over the world, including some of the world’s largest. The survey also incorporates expert analysis from 18 interviews with CEOs and other top executives from leading companies in insurance worldwide.
