- EDS Chosen to Manage Combat Veteran Call Center for Department of Veterans Affairs (09 May 2008)
- HERNDON, Va. – The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has selected EDS to provide outbound calling services and inbound callback support to facilitate the Combat Veteran Call Center outreach and education campaign to make combat veterans more aware of health care services and benefits available from the VA.
- EDS Returns to Georgia with $391 Million Medicaid Win (29 Apr 2008)
- ATLANTA – EDS, the recognized leader in providing health care support to state governments, has been awarded a seven-year, $391 million contract by the state of Georgia to design, develop and implement a new-generation Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS).
- Xerox Extends Information Technology Services Contract With EDS (17 Apr 2008)
- PLANO, Texas and NORWALK, Conn. – EDS and Xerox Corporation announced today a $263 million agreement whereby EDS will manage and support Xerox's end-user computing environment, deliver internal Service Desk services, and provide mainframe services for an additional five years. The extended and expanded agreement provides the scale and flexibility for Xerox to stay ahead of technology advances and easily respond to changing and evolving market needs worldwide.
- Flemish Public Employment Service Selects EDS For New Infrastructure Management Contract (10 Apr 2008)
- PLANO, Texas and BRUSSELS, Belgium – EDS today announced the Flemish Public Employment Service (VDAB) agency has selected EDS as its new partner to manage its information communication technology (ICT) infrastructure. The contract has a six-year term and is worth approximately €50 million (US$74 million).
- Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona Renews EDS Information Technology Services Contract (27 Mar 2008)
- PLANO, Texas and PHOENIX – EDS and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona (BCBSAZ) today announced the two companies have renewed their 20-year relationship.
- EDS Selected for U.S. General Services Administration Contact Center Program (20 Mar 2008)
- EDS today announced it has been selected by the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) to provide call center services for all federal government agencies under the newly awarded USA Contact contract. EDS is one of nine companies that may compete for task orders under the $2.5 billion Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract.
- EDS Awarded $179 Million Contract to Support Defense Manpower Data Center (10 Mar 2008)
- HERNDON, Virginia. – EDS has been awarded a contract to provide information technology support services to the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC), the Defense Department’s primary source of identity management and personnel benefits data.
- Singapore Government Announces a S$1.3 Billion SOEasy Program Award to EDS-led oneMeridian Consortium (28 Feb 2008)
- PLANO, Texas and SINGAPORE – Today, Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) announced the award of an eight-year information technology (IT) services deal worth approximately S$1.3 billion (US$1 billion) to EDS, leader of the oneMeridian consortium.
- EDS Signs Global IT Services Contract with SR Technics (21 Feb 2008)
- PLANO, Texas and Zurich, Switzerland – EDS today announced a six-year, information technology (IT) services agreement with SR Technics, one of the world’s leading independent providers of technical services for the civil aviation sector. Financial terms of the agreement are not being disclosed.
- EDS Awarded Contract to Improve Container Movement Through the Port of Melbourne (23 Jan 2008)
- PLANO, Texas and MELBOURNE, Aus. – EDS was awarded a 12-month contract with the Victorian Department of Infrastructure to run a pilot program to trial new technology designed to dramatically increase cargo movement for the Port of Melbourne by integrating information from thousands of users into one online system.
