EDS Archive and Compliance Services offers Storage infrastructure designed for data archiving which provide cost-effective storage resource and data retention management throughout all phases of the data's lifecycle. Our storage archival infrastructure supports multiple application solutions via the application program interface (API) such as messaging, File shares, and Databases. EDS Archive and Compliance Services provide relief to primary applications by offloading aged data and enable long-term archival and secure retention. As managed services, EDS Archive and Compliance Services include integrated hardware, software and service solutions covering the entire range of storage archive architectures and information demands, and are intelligently tailored to the client's business.
- Compliance Archive is a client dedicated archive tier that brings the functionality of Audit Protection but also adds immutable storage capabilities. This prevents data objects from being deleted or modified at the hardware layer retaining a historical copy of each version via Write Once-Read Many (WORM) technology. This tier also provides reduced storage requirements through redundant data elimination technology.
- Audit Protection Archive is a utility archive tier that enables policy automation and provides WORM and redundant data elimination capabilities. This service maintains change logs to capture who changed files and at what time. EDS offers this tier in a single client dedicated model.
- Base Online Archive is the entry-level archiving tier and provides long-term retention of inactive data online using high-capacity disk.
- Base Offline Archive is the entry-level archiving tier and provides long-term retention of inactive data on offline media.
