- We offer Transition services if you want EDS to assume responsibility for your infrastructure or migrate it to an EDS facility for support. Transition Services is an integrated set of processes and professionals that assist in transitioning/migrating a client’s infrastructure and workload over to EDS. Proven procedures and processes developed and used in thousands of successful systems and environment transitions/migrations are used to ensure success.
- Mainframe Transition
- We offer Mainframe transformation services if you’re looking to transition your current mainframe environment to a z/OS utility service model. Mainframe Transformation is used to move you from the heritage systems running your business today to a standard, services-oriented model. The new environment will support the need for change and enable businesses to recognize the value and performance of the service. During this phase, your processing is transformed (converted) to leveraged EDS tools, procedures, and hosting templates. Once this phase is complete, you will be ready to begin operating under EDS' empowered hosting state. The key deliverables in this phase are conversion, all the while continuing to meet processing requirements. The time frame for Mainframe Transformation Services is variable depending on each client’s processing profile, and the extent of transformation activity required.
