DCML: What's Next
The DCML Organization meets formally each quarter and refines specification charters in independent working groups year-round. The Organization has just recently merged with the OASIS standards body and is beginning transition to this new group. Membership and momentum for DCML adoption is expected to grow considerably as a result.
The group expects to refine the existing specification through late 2004 and into 2005. DCML-compliant software is expected to be announced in the first quarter of 2005.
