- Provides monitoring and management for standard and non-standard database management systems at the lowest cost

- Optimizes Windows, UNIX and Linux server resource utilization by transforming physical resources into logical resources; reduces your total cost of ownership through the reduction of physical servers on the data center floor; and enables flexibility through rapid deployment of virtual images.

For all of these packages, Server Management Services provides you with our base services to manage your environment at high service levels and to attain our goal of zero outages. Base services include server planning, installation and monitoring; tracking hardware assets; power, cooling and raised floor; ensuring operational functionality of the operating system; and detecting and restoring image and hardware faults. Other base services include ensuring that your systems meet EDS’ stringent security policies; managing user logon IDs and access; and employing anti-virus software to prevent attacks.
Additionally, you can select optional features to support any of your unique server requirements, including image performance analysis; capacity planning services; high availability services; and vulnerability management testing.
