The next fad

Back in August, I did a couple of blog entries around Fads in IT.

Could simplicity be the response to the current innovation fad that is winding down? There appears to be a small rush of books coming out around the concept of simplicity for competitive advantage, creating that ring of fluff around the good stuff.
